NB: If our brooms are listed as out of stock, or you are looking to place a bulk or custom order, please Contact Us using our contact form.
Our prize-winning traditional besom brooms, sometimes known as witches’ brooms, are made by hand using traditional techniques right here in the heart of the South Downs National Park.
The timber used to make our brooms comes from our own Grown in Britain certified woodland in Hampshire.
Made from natural hazel and birch, our besoms are practical, hard-working garden brooms that can be used both indoors and out.
They are ideal for sweeping paths, lawns and gravel, clearing leaves and other garden debris, or simply for anyone who appreciates a properly made traditional broom. They also make a charming pagan or traditional woodland ornament for a shrine.
Our brooms are available in a range of sizes, depending on the materials available:
- Small – approximately 4ft – ideal for old children or smaller adults
- Medium – approximately 5ft – ideal for the average-sized adult
- Large – approximately 6ft – ideal for taller adults
Every besom is made individually, so natural variations in the birch and hazel are part of what makes each broom unique.
For more information about our traditional besom making and the craft behind our brooms, read more about our besom brooms here.
If you are looking for a larger order, a smaller broom for a shrine, or something a little different, please get in touch with us and we will be happy to discuss what we can make.
